I hit burnout last fall. Y'all, it was not fun. Even though I was burned out, I still had commitments to fulfill. I saw this coming a year before that and had made preparations to back out of some commitments by the end of February. I didn't want to let people down. Burnout hit in October. I won't bore you with all the horrid details. You're welcome!

February was a significant date because my husband had set February 1 as his retirement date. Yep, we're officially Old People now! This is one reason I cut back on a lot of my commitments. We took a cruise, spent some time getting our Old People stuff worked out (dealing with Social Security right now is a pain in the tail), and Making Plans.

This is good news for Steam Cat! We wanted to retire to a life of making stuff and doing projects, and this is where Steam Cat is going to go. I'll still be doing stuff at conventions (if they'll have me!) and I'm reviving the YouTube channel. This will take a bit of time, but I'm working on it.
