Yeah, it's been a while. turns out I needed chemotherapy. Fortunately, it was preventive. Unfortunately, it's still chemotherapy, so it did a number on my immune system and energy levels. However, my first post-chemo scan shows no cancer, so this is good. (I won't go into the gory details, but it was a really close thing and they seem to have gotten it all during surgery.)
So, what's next?
I'll definitely be at Soonercon. I'll probably be wearing a mask, though, due to my immune system taking its own sweet time to recover. I won't have things in the Art Show. Just not enough energy. I'll be doing some panel programming and also the radio play. Also, the Steam Cat Labs looked like it had been hit by a tornado. I have it (mostly) back in order and am starting to work on projects. I'm hoping to re-launch the YouTube channel soon as well.
I've had an invitation to the ArmadilloCon Art Show, which I am mulling over. I have some things I can take down there. I also want to contact them and see if I can get back on programming this year.
It's going to be a lot of baby steps.
